Keeping It Together: An Exciting Update

April 16, 2012

As you may have noticed, the posts here on Singular Spectrum lately have been a tad disjointed. When the Adams and I started this project, we envisioned a blog where we could work as a team to create quality content spanning the interests and passions of all three of us.  To that end, we’re implementing a new schedule for posting starting this Sunday.  Here’s what’s going to change around these parts:

1. Spectrum Sundays.  The Adams and I have really enjoyed the few posts that we’ve written in which all three of us have contributed a small portion of the whole.  Since we love writing those posts so much, we’re going to make them a weekly feature that we update every Sunday with a new topic for us to discuss each week.  That topic will lead into…

2. Individual posts.  Each of us will write one post each week that delves deeper into our own thoughts and insights on the topic that we touched upon in that week’s Sunday Spectrum feature.  For now, since our schedules are so constantly shifting, the day on which we each upload our posts will likely vary from week to week, but you can definitely expect to see something from all three of us before each week is out.

3. So wait… who picks the topic?  The Adams and I will take turns picking the topic on a rotating basis, but if you fabulous readers ever have any topics, issues, or current events that you’d like to see us write about, please don’t hesitate to leave your suggestions in the comments on any of our posts and we’ll be happy to tackle them.

So there you have it.  For the rest of this week it’ll be the same old slightly structured chaos (I’ll probably toss in a review of the incredible “Blue Like Jazz” movie adaptation at some point), but starting next week you can expect a much more united experience here on Singular Spectrum.  Hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoy writing it!
